Inner Banks Media’s Greenville Employment Unit is vigilant in our outreach to expose the opportunity of a career in radio to everyone, but most especially to younger and minority job seekers.
Inner Banks Media has an ongoing internship program with opportunities in commercial audio production, live video production, sports reporting and audio engineering. This leads to a constant flow of students into our internship program.  These interns are as diverse as the enrollment at our area colleges.
Often internships turn into part-time employment.  Many Interns over the years have become Part-Time or Full-Time employees.
Each year Inner Banks Media partners with the nonprofit Eastern North Carolina Alliance to present the “Better Skills, Better Jobs, Career Fair” at the Greenville Convention Center.  For information on this year’s event click here.
There was no charge to the 100 employers who set up booths or the countless number of job seekers who attended.
Inner Banks Media management works hard to provide a pleasant work environment for staff and a learning environment for newcomers. This combined with the our outreach activities has helped us to attract new voices to radio and allowed Inner Banks Media to thrive.

Internship:  Inner Banks Media is always accepting Interns (unpaid position) who are willing to get class credit for work experience.  Many former interns have gone on to full time employment, or other jobs, all by using this experience as a springboard for their career.
